About the Event
Join us in celebrating International Yoga Day and cultivate the yogic wisdom and strength lying dormant inside you!
Yoga is an ancient Indian philosophy and practical eight-part system that provides us with an understanding of the mind and step by step instruction and practices of how to calm it, make it still and steady with a lazer like focus so we may ultimately transcend it. Yoga is a powerful path and sadhana (practice) that can keep us centred and strong in the midst of any pandemic, uncertainty or change.
Schedule:
10am-12pm: 108 Surya Namaskar (optional) to challenge the body and mind and raise funds for a selfless cause. Do as many as you like. Get sponsored to move and raise funds to support the future of CMUK.
This part of the day is optional, however, once you find a rhythm, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how the practice becomes effortless and medatitive. Plus it's an opportunity to support the CMUK Centre Transformation and be part of passing on an understanding of the great wisdom and practices found in Eastern Traditions to the future generations to come! Ask your family and friends to sponsor you, bring them too! Have fun, challenge yourself and raise as much as you can.
